i don't usually prompt myself to do things. i run into ideas and work on them down the line if it's possible to last a while.
if it's in my skillset to stay interested and achieve what i want, it'll eventually become a result. Although that usually does not last long. Of course, if money is involved in the process, its another thing entirely.
